“In light of the maiden budget from the new government, this short and comprehensive session would discuss on how the new tax changes impact the property market as whole. Aside from the changes that were announced in the Budget 2019, the speakers would also share with you how the new government may have changed the practices and positions of the relevant direct and indirect tax authorities for the property market going forward”
Mr. Chris Yee, Director of Indirect Tax, Crowe Horwath Malaysia
He lead of the GST division in Crowe KL Tax. Provides GST-related services that include performing GST reviews and providing technical opinions on the appropriate GST treatment based on the GST legislation. Has over ten (10) years of experience in operational and IT audits, corporate governance and risk management advisories, business process improvements and re-engineering, forensic investigations and data analysis and interrogations. Assisted clients in performing pre-GST review and implementation work and GST workshops/trainings since the beginning of Year 2014.
Ms. Wong Man Yee, Director of Tax, Crowe Horwath Malaysia
Wong Man Yee is a Director of Crowe KL Tax Sdn Bhd who specializes in tax compliance as well as tax advisory. Having been in the tax professional environment for more than 10 years. Man Yee has diverse experience in advising clients on corporate tax, tax incentive, real property gains tax, stamp duty exemption, tax audit and investigation, tax due-diligence, and tax advisory on business restructuring and corporate exercises. She has been involved in a number of GST implementation projects which cover various industries.
